THINGS TO KNOW
- There are no contracts for our individual psychological services (Note: we do have contracts for our courses and programs).
- Most consultations are 50-60 minutes
- A referral is not required unless you are intending to claim a Medicare rebate
- Rebates through Medicare ($96.65 for a 50 minute appointment) are available with an appropriate letter of referral
- Rebates may be available through some private health insurance companies
- Longer consultations may incur additional fees

THINGS TO KNOW
- Note: We do not usually Bulk Bill consultations
- To access the Medicare rebate of $96.65 (as at 1 July 2024) the fee needs to be paid first, and then details are sent to Medicare for the rebate to be paid to your account.
- The current maximum number of Medicare sessions that receive a rebate in a calendar year is 10 (6+4)
Alternative: Psychology Support Scheme for low income earners
Available if you live in the Central Eastern Sydney Primary Health Network
The Psychological Support Services (PSS) provides free short term face to face, or via telehealth, psychological therapy for people experiencing mild to moderate mental health concerns that live, work, or study in the Central and Eastern Sydney region and are experiencing financial hardship.
The number of sessions is usually 10
The CESPHN includes the areas from Bondi to the Sutherland Shire in the south, and as far west as Strathfield

To access this scheme your General Practitioner will need to complete an online PSS referral - this is NOT the same as a medicare referral. To see Mark Anns ask the doctor to include his name on the PSS referral.
